The two sons of Federation Justice Chief Justice Ibrahim Tanko wins tickets to the National Assembly in the 2023 elections.
Siraj Ibrahim Tanko, who won an All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket to the Bauchi North Senatorial seat, defeated two other candidates, including Senator Adam Bulkachuwa, who represented the region, in the first election.
The Daily Trust reported that when Siraj voted for 189 votes, Imba, his closest rival, received 177 votes. Bulkachuwa did not get a single vote.

CJN’s other son, Sani Ibrahim Tanko, won the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Primary election at Shira Giafe Federal Constituency of the House of Representatives. He was elected unopposed.
