The alleged thief was beaten by angry residents after he allegedly stole a car battery in Ilorin, Kwara province.

The suspect was caught trying to escape after allegedly stealing a battery from a Toyota Camry parked near Challenge in the Ilorin area on Saturday, May 21.


The suspect allegedly pleaded guilty and showed how easy it was to steal batteries from unlocked vehicles.
