Singer Shakira announces split from Gerard Pique amid cheating allegations

Shakira and Gerard Pique have parted ways, the Colombian singer and Barcelona star have confirmed.

The two, whose relationship began in 2010, have two sons together, Milan and Sasha.

The Shakira Communication Center released a statement that read: “We regret the fact that we are separated. For the welfare of our children, which are our top priorities, please respect their privacy. Thank you for your understanding.”

It comes after a Barcelona defender was caught in bed with another woman.

Amid the controversy, Suzy Cortez, better known as Miss BumBum, also claimed that Pique had beaten her.

He revealed details of how he met Pique, and even said that he had received messages from a football player asking him to measure the size of one of his limbs.

Cortez said Gerard Pique wrote his messages, but some of them were not good.

“He was the one who sent me the exact message. The only Barcelona players who ever sent me anything were Messi and Coutinho. They are great husbands and have a lot of respect for their wives. Shakira did not deserve this,” said Cortez El Diario NY.

It was reported that Shakira and Pique had been living apart for several weeks after Pique was evicted from their family home.

According to Spanish shop El Periodico, she has been living on a bachelor pad and has been living the “party way” since they split up.

Shakira pointed out the problem in their organization with her latest song ‘Te Felicito’ with Rauw Alejandro, and the 45-year-old song: “To finish it I was shattered; I was warned, but I did not listen; sorry, that sounds honest, but i know you very well and i know you are lying.
