Napoli rejected Victor Osimhen’s Arsenal request for 51m

Arsenal’s 60 million euro (£ 51m) offer to Victor Osimhen has been rejected by Napoli, according to various Italian reports.

The Gunners are looking to sign two new strikers in the transfer window after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette left the club this year.

The club have been in talks to sign Gabriel Jesus of Manchester City but Osimhen is also on the club’s shortlist.

The 23-year-old Edo-born striker has scored 28 goals in 62 games since joining Napoli in a £ 69.5m deal with Lille in 2020.

According to Il Mattino, Arsenal have already tried for € 60 million (£ 51m) but that has been denied by Napoli.
