Mbaka needs prayers, psychological and spiritual help to get back on track. He should be forgiven – Ohanaeze

Apex Igbo social and cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo responded to the remarks of the Director of Spiritual Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Fr. Ejike Mbaka has spoken out about the election of Labor Party president Peter Obi.

Recall that Mbaka sparked outrage after calling Peter Obi a “little man” and saying he would not be President until he knelt down before his ministry.

Responding to this, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, Secretary-General of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo International, called for Mbaka to leave without committing a crime. He also pleaded with Obi to forgive him, adding that the pastor needed prayers, psychological and spiritual help to regain his health.

The statement read as follows;

“Ohanaeze Ndigbo around the world has commended the Enugu Diocese of the Catholic Church, led by Bishop Onaga for immediately denying unnecessary attacks on the incumbent Labor Party president, and the Catholic brothers, Mr. Peter Obi.

“We are not surprised that Fr. Mbaka worked as a destructive machine paid for by the Governor of the South East in order to plant the seeds of discord in an attempt to tarnish the image of Mr. Peter Obi and his national recognition as the unifying Presidential election of the Nigerian people.

Mbaka is bound to make mistakes and needs our prayers, psychological and spiritual help to get back on track, and we know that the Enugu Diocese of Catholic Church has secretly warned him to avoid political announcements.

“Go and do not sin Fr. Mbaka. Please Mr. Peter Obi, a Labor Party presidential candidate, to find a way to pardon Mbaka. To go astray is human, and forgiveness is divine.

“The Nigerian people are watching and patiently waiting for other paid ambassadors from Southeast Nigeria to recruit a campaign against a new Nigerian organization, ‘Take Back Nigeria Mantra’, led by millions of Nigerians to Mr. Peter Obi.”
