Gov Hope Uzodinma not hit by Stroke-Imo govt

The Imo State Government has fabricated the allegations that the Governor-General, Hope Uzodiinma, suffered a stroke and was flown to India for emergency treatment.
Information and Strategy Commissioner Declan Emelumba, in a statement in Owerri, the provincial capital on Wednesday, said the governor was heartbroken.
Emelumba said the governor is currently in Abuja participating in activities leading up to the first presidential election of the All Progressives Congress.
The commissioner said the news about the government’s illness was being fabricated by enemies of the state.
The statement read: “The Imo State Government has dismissed it as a baseless, vicious and absurd myth, a message of violence circulated on social media stating that Governor HOPE ZODIMMA had suffered a stroke and was flown to India. Satan’s message even said that he could not get to India
Responding to a voice message in Owerri yesterday, the Provincial Information and Planning Officer, the Honorable Declan Emelumba, in a statement reassured the people that Uzodimma was not only kind but also supervised all his planned activities in the capital, Abuja.
“He asserted that those who spread satanic propaganda were descendants of Lucifer and had evil intentions of the emperor.
“According to him, he will not have a challenge that could lead to his stroke.
“The Honorable Member attended a meeting with the President and other APC governors this morning. As I speak, you attended another group meeting with other participants before the APC meeting. So I don’t really know what those who are spreading the rumors want to gain, ”said Emelumba.
“The commissioner has warned the whistleblowers to stop immediately before disaster strikes.
“According to him, it is clear that those who do not wish the emperor well have been dreaming of a strange disease, but he will continue to be disappointed as Uzodimma enjoys a strong life and performs public functions.
“Emelumba has strongly appealed to the people of the state and to the Nigerian people to be vigilant” this is a document composed of mentally disturbed people who want to be ignored.
“Emelumba said the matter has been referred to the appropriate security agencies to resolve those who monitor the noise of Satan.”
