British University Clashes Ekweremadu Over Allegations Of ‘Organ Harvesting’

Senator Ike Ekweremadu has been suspended by the University of Lincoln, United Kingdom, after being appointed as a visiting professor of Corporate and International Linkages.

This comes after a Nigerian lawmaker and his wife, Beatrice, were arrested by British police for allegedly plotting to harvest the kidneys of another Ukpo Nwamini David, a 15-year-old man.

The London Mail yesterday quoted a university spokesman as saying that Ekweremadu had been suspended.

 

A spokesman for the University said;

 

Visiting professionals are often, as is the case in this case, non-university, unpaid and advisory.

 

“We are very concerned about the nature of these allegations, but as it is an active police investigation, we cannot comment at this stage.

 

“While the matter is still being investigated, this person will not be working as a visiting professor in Lincoln.”
