Atiku defeated Wike at the party’s presidential rally in Abuja on Saturday night.
Atiku received 371 delegate votes while his closest rival (Wike) received 237 votes.
Monday’s meeting, in conjunction, was to reconcile two party leaders and gave the PDP a strong lead in the 2023 presidential election against the ruling All Progressives Congress.

The meeting was also attended by the former Ekiti Regional Governor and former PDP president Ayodele Fayose, among other PDP official.
