APC youth groups back Buhari’s ally as consensus presidential candidate

The young Wing of  All Progressives Congress, on Thursday, unanimously endorsed the founder and coordinator of the Buhari Support Organization, Ibrahim El-Dabi, as a candidate for the 2023 presidential race, at the APC platform.

Members of organizations include the National Youth Council of Nigeria; APC Youth Integrity Network; APC Youth Vanguard; APC Young Professionals Movement; APC Unity Group for Goals; APC Youth Support Group for Better Nigeria; Muhammadu Buhari Youth Emancipation Strategic Movement, along with 15 other groups.

They place their support on El-Dabi’s love for the youth, his digital approach to governance, and his forerunner of in-depth analysis of issues focused on public concern.

In a statement signed by the co-ordinators of the coalition, Igwe Ude-manta and Danesi Momoh Prince, made available to reporters in Abuja, the youth leaders said they had endorsed El-Dabi with his qualifications and abilities.

When he was finally elected president of Nigeria, the party noted that El-Dabi was able to deal with the problems that keep Nigerians awake at night, especially insecurity and poverty.

“For the record, Dr. Ibrahim Bello El-Dabi, holds a Doctorate in Business Management, a successful businessman, leadership development consultant, policy analyst, and community service expert. He is also a prominent political leader.

“Now that we hear about the All Progressives Congress’ efforts to reach an agreement on his election intervention, we sincerely expect him to be given the first right to refuse,” the report read in part.

“This will no doubt ensure a lot of support for the youth in the party and victory in the 2023 elections would be guaranteed before the vote begins,” the coalition said.

The organizations recalled that when the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (red.) Approved the Not Too Young To Run Law in 2019, he praised the law and urged the youth to support him, and that he too would support him. after his time.

The document described the President’s request as “a letter of promise and check”, stressing that 2023 was the time to issue it and should not be wasted.

“We remind Mr. The President and the APC for this promise, and we urge them to respect us as the youth have given us the most qualified person to lead.

“We will continue to advocate for and protect the youth mandate which is the main objective of the Youth O’Clock Program for young people. There will be no withdrawal or commitment to the project, ”he said.
