Tension as bandits gives 5 plateau villages quit notice to evacuate their villages

Bandits  have issued a ceasefire to residents of Sabon Zama, Gindin Dutse, Anguwan Tsohon Soldier, Anguwan Yuhana and Anguwan Mangu valleys in the Wase Local Government Area of ​​Plateau State.

According to a Daily Trust report, residents say masked gunmen stormed the area and demanded that they leave within five days or go to war.

Count Pinau, a resident of Pinau, a town 11 miles from Wase, told the newspaper on Tuesday, June 28, that bandits threatened to attack the area, advising them to leave or face the consequences.

He said many residents had begun gathering in Pinau and other major cities for safety.
