Erik ten Hag has been introduced by Manchester United at Old Trafford as the club’s new manager.

On Monday morning, May 23, Ten Hag was shown to the stadium by football director John Murtough, ahead of his press conference.

Another photo showed Ten Hag holding Manchester United’s 2021/22 season kit and representing the cameras.

Speaking to the club’s website, Ten Hag said: “I would say the word ‘exciting’. I look forward to doing this work for you, this club with a great history, and we want to bring it back to where it belongs. ”

The Dutchman replaces Ralf Rangnick, who was interim manager following the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

MANCHESTER UNITED United finished in sixth place last season and have just finished five years without a win.

Ten Hag believes United are better than the league title promoted last season, adding: “And know that one year ago, this club, this team was second in the Premier League. There is power and now it is up to us to bring that out. It is a process, it will take time but I am sure we will get to that point where we find success. We have to work hard and it must be based on the right philosophy and strategies. ”
